Job SummaryLandscape Gardening and Maintenance company serving the greater MDI, and Coastal Hancock County region is accepting applications for full-time Experienced gardeners, April-November.We are a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing exceptional service to the clients and community we serve, and we want you to join us! If you are motivated and detail oriented, and enjoy physical labor while working outdoors, we would love to talk to you.Minimum of 3 years working in a similar setting, plant knowledge and horticultural skills are required, starting wage is commensurate with experience.While we are seeking individuals to fill the seasonal positions, growth opportunities and the potential for year round employment may be available for the right candidate.May be required to work occasional Saturdays, and in all types of weather.A valid Maine driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required.Skills/requirements:Strong work ethic Excellent attendance Plant knowledge Horticulture practices (monitor plant health, pruning/deadheading, IPM) Installations Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including spreading mulch, pick up/haul brush and debris, use of wheel barrow, planting installations Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes), power tools (trimmers, blowers), wheel barrrows, safely and effectively, for several hours at a time Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail Ability to work with a team, or alone Pay:From $24.00 per hour Benefits:Paid time off Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience:Gardening:3 years (Required) Ability to Commute:Bar Harbor, ME 04609 (Required) Work Location:In person.
