About Us Mossbrook Landscaping is a design and build company that provides professionalism, artistry, and quality services to our clients.We strongly care about helping clients increase the value and beauty of their properties along with maintaining the appearance of their outdoor spaces.Job Overview and Responsibilities Mossbrook is looking for a landscape maintenance gardener who will have the opportunity to lead and manage the monthly maintenance schedule.The season begins with tasks assisting the landscaping crew with spring clean ups.This includes plant cut backs, light tree and shrub pruning, weeding, edging, installation of mulch, and removal of leaves.As the season progresses, this position will entail servicing properties on a monthly and bi-monthly basis.The lead gardeners' responsibilities include ensuring maintenance is performed in a timely manner.Maintenance services include weeding, deadheading, light pruning, removal of debris from landscape beds, monitoring plant health, and oversight that the landscape needs are met.Beginning in October through November, the landscape gardener typically assists the landscaping crew with fall clean ups which are very similar to spring clean ups.This role will report to the landscape foreman during spring and fall clean up and the landscape manager during the monthly maintenance schedule.This is a physical and rewarding position with a lot of walking, bending, and lifting while being able to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful gardens.Qualifications Applicant must be able to work well with others as well as independently.Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs.Applicant must have a valid and clean Driver's License.Experience with small tools and equipment (ie.back pack blower, pruning tools) is a plus.Knowledge of plant ID and maintenance practices.Strong attention to detail.Position is seasonal and part time, about 28-34 hours a week, April through October.The monthly schedule throughout the summer is fairly flexible.If interested, (seasonal) full time work is available.Interested applicants should respond by submitting their resume and letter of interest.Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Experience:Gardening:1 year (Required) Language:English (Required) Work Location:In person.
