Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces pristine. Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and effectively. Support planting projects by preparing soil, planting shrubs, trees, flowers, and installing irrigation systems. Help with hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements. Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for properties and pathways. Conduct routine landscape upkeep including watering, fertilizing, and pest control under supervision. Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic repairs to ensure optimal operation. Experience Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of horticulture principles such as plant care, tree trimming, and garden maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate machinery like excavators or other heavy equipment is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude eager to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and construction.
