This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and construction.You will assist with a variety of tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of residential and commercial landscapes.This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their horticulture and landscaping expertise while contributing to vibrant, well-kept environments.Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repair, and general horticulture practices Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed whackers, blowers) safely and efficiently Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients Experience Prior experience with landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right motivated candidate Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping projects Ability to follow safety procedures diligently when using machinery such as excavators or snow plows Strong work ethic with a positive attitude eager to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and tree care Pay:$24.00 - $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
