Location:Apopka, FL Shift:1st Shift -- 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM start time 30-40 hours a week Environment:Indoor & outdoor work in all weather conditions Pay:$18.00/hr Company:Fortune 500 Organic Material Manufacturer This is a part-time role requiring 30-40 hours per week, depending on seasonal needs and project workload.Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Landscape Research and Laborer Schedule In this role you will assist with and perform routine landscape maintenance on a 24 acre farm that conducts product development research for the consumer lawn and garden market.This includes hedge and tree trimming, operating both riding and walk-behind commercial mowers, string trimmers and mid-size tractors with attachments.The candidate will also assist in cutting, stacking, moving and laying small areas of sod on occasion.The candidate may also assist in setting up research trials, collecting data, and maintaining plot markings.Additional duties may be assigned by supervisory personnel.This is a part-time position needed for at least 30 to 40 hrs/week.Qualifications Prior landscape or grounds maintenance experience preferred Research, Trials Ability to operate commercial mowing equipment and tractors Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Pay:$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Experience:Landscaping:1 year (Required) Commercial Mower:1 year (Required) Mid-Size Tractor:1 year (Preferred) Research operations:1 year (Required) Ability to Commute:Apopka, FL 32703 (Required) Work Location:In person.
