Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead

Earth Care is a 30-year old company serving high-end homes in the Northeast Valley.We are looking for a career-minded maintenance supervisor to oversee three small maintenance teams; each led by a crew leader.Pay:Depends on experience, to be discussed at interview.Position description:responsible for supervising, and occasionally aiding in, all outdoor activities related to landscape maintenance.Tasks include, but are not limited to:o responsible for maintaining professional and courteous contact with the homeowner & understanding and fulfilling the clients' desires for their property.o ensuring that no maintenance detail is overlooked o determining, ordering and scheduling pick-up of new and replacement plants for clients o making sure irrigation and lighting systems are correctly functioning, o completing performance appraisals of employees o facilitating inventory checks and purchase of replacement materials o attending and participating in weekly staff meetings and training o collaborating with team members to accomplish goals Skillset:must be detail orientated, punctual and self-motivated; must have a minimum of five years in landscape maintenance and two years in a supervisory role is essential.Supervisor must have knowledge of desert plants and their appropriate care.Must be able to handle extreme summer heat.Requirements:Must possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on company's insurance policy.Legal documentation to verify employment (E-Verify).Physically able to handle the work load and have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and have reliable transportation to/from work.Must also complete paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while maintaining a professional attitude.Must always be courteous when interacting with customers and office staff.Important:It is important to Earth Care that our employees have an interest in learning how to correctly care for desert plants and trees.Instruction will be provided and access to classes will be made available.Please email your resume to customerservice@earthcareaz.com Job Type:Full-time Pay:$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute:Cave Creek, AZ 85331 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Cave Creek, AZ 85331:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
