Position Overview Whidbey Island Landscaping is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee daily operations within the maintenance division.This role is responsible for crew leadership, route execution, quality control, and operational consistency across residential and HOA properties.The position reports directly to ownership and operates with a high level of autonomy.This is not a crew lead position.You will own the maintenance division -- routes, crews, quality, and daily execution.You are responsible for making sure trucks roll on time, work is completed to standard, and clients are taken care of correctly the first time.Key Responsibilities Operations and Crew Management Supervise and direct a 3-4 person maintenance team Assign daily work and adjust routes based on workload and priorities Ensure crews are mobilized and operating on schedule each day Monitor crew performance, productivity, and labor efficiency Ensure daily route completion without owner involvement Service Delivery Quality Control Oversee execution of all maintenance services (mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, site cleanup) Maintain consistent service quality across all properties Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent callbacks Ensure all work meets company standards before leaving each property Conduct quality checks on completed routes Systems Documentation Utilize Jobber for scheduling, time tracking, job notes, and service documentation Ensure all jobs are properly documented with notes and photos Maintain accurate records of work performed and time allocated Team Development Accountability Train and onboard maintenance crew members Participate in hiring and building your team Enforce company standards, expectations, and work procedures Address performance issues directly and in a timely manner Promote a structured, accountable, professional work environment Communication Coordination Communicate daily updates, issues, and field conditions to ownership Coordinate with installation team when scheduling overlaps Provide input on scheduling, staffing, and operational improvements Identify upsell opportunities and communicate client needs Qualifications Minimum 3 years of landscape maintenance experience Prior experience leading or managing a crew Strong understanding of route-based service operations Experience with Jobber or similar field service software preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required) Strong organizational and communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred -- bilingual candidates start at top of range Compensation Schedule $32-$35 per hour depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to division performance Full-time, year-round position Consistent schedule with structured operations All equipment and tools provided Pay:$32.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours:40.0 per week Work Location:In person.
