Pleasant View Gardens / Proven Winners is seeking a Landscape / Garden Supervisor to implement and oversee our award-winning Display Garden--often celebrated as a hidden gem Loudon, NH.The Display Garden is a living catalog that demonstrates the quality and value of Proven Winners plants by providing endless design inspiration for home and commercial gardeners.Our Gardens are uniquely designed with ornamental shrubs, grasses, annuals and perennials to give its visitors new inspiration year after year.The Garden is open to the public and also serves as a venue our premier customer event that occurs at the end of July. Responsibilities Review Garden Design and create a plan for execution based on input from the Garden Designer Spring Clean Up to prepare the garden for planting. Supervise support personnel to oversee installation of the garden and manage daily garden care. Trimming and pruning of trees and/or vegetation, sod laying, mowing, planting, watering, mulching, digging and raking General upkeep of all landscape areas through weeding, edging and mulching Installing and maintaining drip irrigation systems Fall property clean up Maintaining & leading an overall safe work environment by using Personal Protective Equipment Supporting our R&D team with overall gardening operations in our Display Garden. Required Knowledge and Skills: Must have 4years of landscape experience must have supervisory skills and able to effectively manage a crew intuitive, able to think on your feet experience with annuals, shrubs, and perennials Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable and motivated to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work occasional weekends as needed Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.without assistance Willingness to learn how to operate heavy equipment (forklifts/tractors) Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience Pay:$30.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
