OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices.This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.Dig, plant, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping elements.Execute tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and appearance.Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.Conduct regular landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, weeding, and fertilizing.Assist in hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening blades, and performing minor repairs.Ensure all work areas are clean and organized at the end of each job.Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment safely.Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawn mowers and blowers.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.A valid driver's license may be required for driving company vehicles between job sites.Join our team as a Landscape Technician where you can contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces while developing your skills in landscape management.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$23.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Paid time off Experience:Landscape maintenance:3 years (Preferred) License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Shelburne Falls, MA 01370 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Shelburne Falls, MA 01370:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
