Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaping person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of lawn care practices. This role involves working outdoors, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. Duties Managing all landscaping projects, including design, installation, and maintenance Manage and supervise the planting and pruning of all plant materials Planting of new shrubs, trees, perennials and flowers Weeding and mulching landscape beds Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs Care for established lawns by aerating, removing thatch or trimming and edging around flower beds, etc. Complete Spring and Fall Clean-ups Install pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls or other hardscaping Proper Installation of sod and grass seed Oversee the scheduling of work routes to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely manner Monitor the condition of lawns and landscapes, identifying any issues related to pests or diseases. Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy lawns as needed Utilize a variety of lawn and landscaping power equipment and hand tools. Supervise a crew of 3-4 members Experience Pesticide Application License – is a huge plus but not required Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Prior commercial landscape experience is strongly preferred Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Must possess a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites. Safely operate trucks, trailers, and dump trucks Able to safely operate machinery (as instructed) Physical Stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in all weather conditions. Able to sit, stand, kneel and lift/move 50+ lbs. repeatedly with no physical limitations or restrictions. Must have strong communication and time management skills Valid Driver's License and Good Driving Record is Mandatory Hours: Monday – Friday & weekend hours may be required as needed · Expected work hours: 35-40+ hours per week Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
