Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including irrigation startups, repairs and installs Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as digging, trimming, and installing landscape features Use equipment like excavators and snow plows to perform large-scale projects or seasonal clean-up operations Maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper operation and troubleshooting issues as needed Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features such as patios or walkways Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Conduct irrigation system blowouts at the end of season Experience Prior experience with landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating equipment like excavators or power tools safely and effectively Familiarity with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices is advantageous Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Basic understanding of horticulture principles and garden management is beneficial Experience with snow plowing or winter maintenance tasks is a plus but not mandatory Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills This role offers a vibrant environment where your hands-on skills will flourish.
