Moody’s Seabag 2 is looking for a dependable Laser Engraver and Plotter Printer Operator to join our team. We specialize in custom military gifts, plaques, shadow boxes, awards, engraving, signs, vinyl graphics, and personalized products for military and civilian customers. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, good customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser engraving equipment and vinyl/plotter printing equipment such as Roland VersaWorks or similar software. Responsibilities Operate laser engraving equipment to engrave plaques, glass, awards, signs, and other products. Operate vinyl printer/plotter equipment and assist with print production. Set up artwork and customer files for engraving, cutting, or printing. Load, unload, and handle materials safely. Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and appearance. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Keep tools, machines, and production areas clean after each shift. Follow all shop safety procedures and equipment guidelines. Assist with inventory counts and material tracking when needed. Work with customers to help bring their custom gift, award, or design ideas to life. Maintain a positive attitude and work well with the team. Be willing to learn new machines, processes, and production techniques. Requirements Laser engraving experience: 2 years preferred. Vinyl printer or plotter experience: 1 year preferred. Experience with Roland VersaWorks or similar production software is a plus. Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented. Must have good customer service and communication skills. Must be able to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks accurately. Must be willing to work in person at our Norfolk location.
