Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundress to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all laundry tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.This role is essential in maintaining the quality of linens and garments, particularly in a hotel or hospitality setting.DAY SHIFT HOURS AND MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS and HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN LAUNDRY IS A MUST.SUNDAY HOURLY PAYRATE $20.00 Responsibilities Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments.Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machine with care and attention to detail.Sort and classify items according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.Including restrooms, common areas and lunchroom.Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms and common areas.As Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.Experience Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.Familiarity with cleaning techniques and products used in laundry.Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus, enhancing understanding of industry standards for cleanliness.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timelines.Join us in delivering exceptional service through meticulous care of our linens and garments!
