OverviewJoin our vibrant team as a brand-new store Electrolux Laundromat Attendant and become the heartbeat of a bustling, customer-focused laundry facility.In this energetic role, you'll ensure the smooth operation of laundry services, provide exceptional customer support, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver a seamless experience for every guest, making their visit efficient, pleasant, and satisfying.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills while contributing to a vital community service.Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, ask for 5 star Google review, assist with laundry drop-off and pick-up, and answer inquiries about services offered.Operate and monitor laundry machines, ensuring proper functioning and safety compliance.Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat area, including washers, dryers, washing stations, folding areas, and customer waiting zones and outside surrounding area.Cleanliness is a must.Handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling procedures; process payments through cashiering systems.Keep detailed records of transactions, machine usage, and maintenance needs.Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment issues or escalate repairs to maintenance staff promptly.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while providing friendly and efficient service to all customers.Manage wash & fold orders (check - in, tagging, folding, storing and packaging) Coordinate with pick - up and delivery drivers whenever needed.Must be able to work on the weekend with 4 working days and 3 days off.Experience Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude.Familiarity with dry cleaning or laundry processes is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently and maintain a tidy workspace Experience with cashiering or cash handling enhances your ability to manage transactions smoothly.Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets convenience!
