Laundry Aide Shift: Full-Time and part-time available The Laundry Aide ensures that ancillary department linen and residents’ personal Follows facility policies and performs job duties in compliance with OSHA universal precaution, infection control, and facility policies. Handles all laundry in accordance with sanitary guidelines Sorts all soiled laundry into appropriate categories. Lifts and carries loads of laundry to and from cleaning equipment Washes, dries, folds, and hangs all laundry neatly and properly and weighs Identifies personal laundry with resident’s name and remarks personal Returns clean resident laundry to appropriate rooms, closets, dressers, and Keeps washing machine supplied with chemical products at all times. Keeps work area clean and neat at all times and performs cleaning assignments Works in cooperation with all other facility employees to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff. shift starts, and work consistently until the shift ends. Constantly maintains high-performance standards at work concerning personal behavior and interactions with staff, community, and residents under various high school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience preferred A high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene is required * Respect for residents’ privacy and rights; Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, Qualities of responsibility, diplomacy, and ability to work well with fellow Physical endurance for frequent activity environment for residents and staff alike!
