About us King Pelican Laundromat is a locally owned small business serving the greater South Bay community.We provide full-service laundry including Wash & Fold and convenient Pick-Up & Delivery service.We take pride in offering a clean, welcoming environment for both our customers and our team.Attendant MUST SPEAK ENGLISH.Please apply only if your schedule can accommodate the shift hours listed below.Shift Schedule:Monday - Thursday:7:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM Friday - Sunday:6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM We offer a large, comfortable workspace with friendly staff and supportive coworkers.Responsibilities Wash, dry, and fold customer drop-off laundry with care and attention to detail Operate the cash register and process transactions Learn and use the Point-of-Sale (POS) computer system Assist customers and respond to their needs in a friendly, helpful manner Maintain cleanliness throughout the laundromat, including restrooms, floors, and work areas Sweep and mop floors as needed Empty trash cans and remove large debris Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness standards are maintained Help maintain a welcoming environment by delivering excellent customer service Take out trash and keep disposal areas organized If you enjoy working with people, staying active, and being part of a small local business, we'd love to hear from you.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$17.87 - $20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
