OverviewThe Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards.This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel's laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens and garments.Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated properly based on fabric care instructions.Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items.Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is preferred but not required.Knowledge of proper laundering techniques for various fabrics including dry cleaning processes.Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality.Join our team as a Laundry Attendant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service that enhances our guests' experiences.Job Type:Full-time Ability to Commute:Ketchikan, AK 99901 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Ketchikan, AK 99901:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
