OverviewJoin our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will elevate guest experiences.In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of laundry and linen services, ensuring all items are fresh, clean, and impeccably presented.Your energetic approach and dedication will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that guests love to return to.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant hotel setting.Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to established standards for cleanliness and presentation Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized garments as needed, ensuring proper handling and treatment Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning and dry cleaning processes Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when restocking is necessary Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest clothing Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping preferred Knowledge of laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures in handling chemicals Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for sorting and folding linens accurately Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with energy Pay:$23.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
