Laundry Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. This position will work 8:00am-4:00pm Monday thru Friday, with some weekends as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of linens, towels, and garments for our residents, contributing to their overall experience at our establishment. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens, towels, and guest garments. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working order. Adhere to safety protocols while using chemicals and machinery. Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and report low stock levels. Experience Previous experience in an assisted living or commercial laundry setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and quality control. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
