Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all laundry items, including linens, towels, and garments.This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our establishment is known for.Previous hotel experience is a plus, as it will enhance your understanding of our operations.Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to clean linens and garments.Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.Inspect items for stains or damage and take appropriate action to treat or report and docoument them.Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics.Collaborate with Restoration Project Manager to ensure timely documenting, cleaning, and return of restored clothing and textiles to customers.Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling chemicals.Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or cleaning preferred.Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads when necessary.Join us in providing exceptional service through meticulous laundry care!
