Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our dynamic legal team. As a Law Clerk, you will support attorneys with research, document review, legal drafting, and case management, ensuring efficient and effective legal operations. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support ongoing cases and projects. Assist with drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Review and organize case files using document management systems like Litify and Filevine to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Support litigation efforts through document review, evidence organization, and preparation of trial materials. Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of case activities, filings, and client information. Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as directed by attorneys to gather relevant information for cases. Manage administrative tasks including filing, proofreading documents, transcription work, and maintaining organized case files. Provide executive administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and handling phone etiquette professionally. Requirements Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited law school or paralegal program. Demonstrated experience with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. Strong understanding of Personal Injury Law Proficiency in legal case management software like Litify or Filevine; familiarity with document review and management systems is highly desirable. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal drafts; proofreading and transcription skills are essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective interviewing techniques coupled with professional phone etiquette for client interactions. Experience in project management within a law office setting is preferred. Paralegal experience or prior legal administrative experience is highly valued.
