Lawn Care Worker

In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and landscapes by utilizing your knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture. Your energetic approach will ensure each project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Whether you're trimming trees, mowing lawns, or operating power tools and excavators, your work will directly contribute to creating inviting outdoor environments that clients love. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping and construction while working outdoors in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Having your own truck that you are willing to use for carrying lawn care equipment Mow lawns and trim edges using lawn mowers, trimmers, and hand tools to achieve a clean, manicured appearance Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, weeding, and pruning trees and shrubs Operate power tools including hedge trimmers, blowers, and edgers safely and effectively to maintain outdoor spaces Use excavators and other construction equipment for hardscape installation or site preparation projects Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure healthy plant growth and water efficiency Conduct routine garden care activities like fertilizing, aerating, and pest control to promote lush landscapes Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe during inclement weather Qualifications Prior experience or strong interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, excavators, and irrigation systems is highly desirable Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and follow safety protocols at all times Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques including trimming and pruning, and hardscape installation is a plus Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as needed Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for completing multiple projects efficiently A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes!
