Lawn Mowing Service Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Mowing Service Operator to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial outdoor spaces through precise mowing, trimming, and landscaping tasks. Your expertise will ensure our clients’ lawns and gardens look pristine, fostering vibrant, well-kept environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes. Duties Operate commercial stander, drive large landscape truck, mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other power tools to achieve clean, even cuts on various grass types and terrains Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, shrub trimming, and planting to enhance aesthetic appeal Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes for planting, aerating soil, or minor landscaping adjustments Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections, cleaning blades, and performing basic repairs or reporting issues for servicing Assist with irrigation system checks and minor repairs to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery and handling landscaping materials Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care equipment and power tools Strong understanding of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and horticulture principles Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in various landscaping tasks Experience working with excavators or other construction equipment is a plus but not required Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning for health and safety purposes Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening techniques, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape installation preferred Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments!
