Position Summary Celestial Hope Rising Services is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly skilled LCPC Board Approved Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision, oversight, and professional guidance to mental health clinicians pursuing licensure and delivering behavioral health services. The Clinical Supervisor will ensure quality care, support staff development, uphold compliance with board regulations, and promote best practices in clinical service delivery aligned with the mission and values of Celestial Hope Rising Services. Key Responsibilities Clinical Supervision Provide individual and/or group clinical supervision to LGPCs, graduate-level interns, and other designated clinical staff in accordance with Maryland Board of Professional Counselors regulations. Monitor and evaluate supervisees’ clinical performance, documentation practices, ethical decision-making, and treatment planning. Review clinical cases, interventions, assessments, and progress notes to ensure quality and compliance. Assist supervisees in developing clinical competencies and achieving professional growth goals. Maintain accurate supervision records and documentation as required by state licensing boards. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all clinical services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, ethical standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, and chart reviews. Monitor compliance with documentation timelines and standards. Assist in implementing corrective action plans when clinical standards are not met. Training & Staff Development Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development to clinical staff. Identify staff training needs and recommend continuing education opportunities. Support onboarding and orientation for newly hired clinicians and interns. Promote evidence-based practices and culturally responsive care. Program Support Collaborate with leadership to enhance clinical programming and service delivery. Participate in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and treatment planning discussions. Provide recommendations for policy development and improvement of clinical services. Assist with crisis consultation and support when needed. Ethics & Professional Standards Ensure supervisees adhere to ethical standards outlined by the counseling profession and licensing board. Address ethical concerns promptly and provide guidance on appropriate resolution. Foster an environment of professionalism, accountability, and client-centered care. Caseload Expectations 1-2 Supervisees per week 8-10 Client Direct Care Caseload Maximum per week 10 clients 3-4 Supervisees per week 6-8 Client Direct Care Caseload Maximum per week 8 clients Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field. Current Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maryland in good standing. Board Approved Clinical Supervisor designation by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors. Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience. Prior clinical supervision experience preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, documentation standards, and ethical practices. Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
