Lead Barista / Shift Lead Red Barn Café at Goebbert’s Farm We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, and dependable Lead Barista / Shift Lead to help lead the front-of-house experience at our café. This role is perfect for someone who loves coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and genuinely cares about creating a welcoming guest experience. This position will work closely with management to support daily café operations, assist with staff leadership, and help ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient service. What You’ll Do Lead and support front-of-house café operations during shifts Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages Assist with opening and closing procedures Help train, coach, and support team members Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Handle guest interactions with professionalism and positivity Support food service, order accuracy, and overall café flow Jump in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly What We’re Looking For Previous barista and/or café experience preferred Leadership or shift lead experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a busy environment Positive attitude with strong attention to detail Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced setting Schedule & Availability Immediate start available Weekend availability is required (Red Barn Cafe is open Saturday & Sunday only) Flexible availability preferred, especially during busy seasonal periods Why Join Us?
