Job Description
This Opportunity WSP is seeking a full-time Lead Coordinator, Project Coordination (OR Specialist, Project Coordination) to join our Advisory & Planning team in our New York office. Oversees and executes complex coordination and administrative functions that directly support the successful planning, tracking, and delivery of project objectives across diverse teams and disciplines. Serves as a senior resource and subject matter expert on project coordination processes, tools, and documentation standards. Provides daily leadership in the implementation of improved workflows, process enhancements, and compliance controls. Collaborates with project managers, finance professionals, and operational leads to ensure accurate data management, timely reporting, and effective cross-functional communication. Supports projects of greater size, complexity, or risk, and may provide mentorship to less experienced coordination staff. Your Impact Working closely with all levels of management and disciplines/departments; and coordinating & communicating relevant project information to the team Support and assist project managers with complying with project delivery procedures With guidance from the Project Delivery Director, perform pricing reviews for new contracts and amendments, including reviewing pricing tools Lead project review meetings with project managers to discuss project status and performance Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings Support project managers with recovery plans, if needed Report to A&P leadership on portfolio performance Other administrative tasks as assigned Who You Are Required Qualifications High School diploma 7+ years of project support/administrative experience Experience supporting a high volume of projects Ability to handle a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills Strong attention to detail and a good communicator Ability to work independently while providing strategic coordination support to project teams. Professional conduct in handling confidential project and financial information. Comfort working across distributed teams and supporting hybrid work environments. Ability to manage and prioritize escalated issues and propose effective resolutions. Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and accountability in support of project outcomes. Compensation Expected Hourly Rate (all locations): $40.87- $50.48 per hour WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
