Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Lead Dental Assistant and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners. Responsibilities Lead chairside assisting during various dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, dentures, Invisalign, and root canals Manage and coordinate clinical workflows to maximize efficiency and patient comfort Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient information and safety Operate and maintain dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners (iTero), and medical imaging devices with precision Assist with dental documentation, including medical records, coding, and documentation in Curve Dental Support the dental team by verifying vital signs, taking X-rays, managing dental terminology, and preparing treatment rooms for procedures Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and chairside assisting techniques Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Curve for managing dental records and documentation Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical coding standards within a dental setting Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely while maintaining aseptic technique Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and team members Certification in dental assisting or equivalent credentials; additional training in 3D scanning or advanced imaging is a plus Embark on a fulfilling career where your leadership skills make a difference!
