All External applicants must provide a copy of current license Hiring Administrator: Elaine Fox Interview dates: May 20,2026 - Round 1 - Initial Interviews May 28, 2026 - Round 2 - Full Interviews TBD - Round 3 - Final Interview for Finalist(s) GENERAL DUTIES Provide leadership for the District Nursing team and for staff in the planning and implementation of direct and indirect health care services to students in the Hillsboro School District. Oversee all nursing services for a school district, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and programs. Create and implement quality assurance programs. Facilitates district coordination of county, state, and federal student health guidance and requirements. Grounded in ethical and evidence-based practices to bridge health care and education, provide care coordination, advocate for quality centered, equitable care, and collaborate to design systems that support students and school communities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in another related field A Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon Preference will be given to those with community health nursing, school nursing or supervisory experience The ability to assess student health needs, access community resources, and interface with students, parents, and health care providers The ability to coordinate, assign responsibilities, and delegate nursing tasks to school staff The ability to develop rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents A valid Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation for on the job travel The ability to follow oral and written instructions The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons The ability to work harmoniously with others Proficient oral and written communication skills in English Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District Strong leadership and team collaboration Excellent communication and conflict resolution Detail-oriented and highly organized Effective time management and prioritization Able to balance multiple perspectives and build consensus To view the full job description(s) please visit the following link: Lead District Nurse Manager
