Madbush Falls is hiring Lead Housekeeper for our thriving lodge in the Mad River Valley! With 33 rooms, suites, cabins and seasonal tents, the Lead Housekeeper is responsible for the quality and cleanliness of the in-room experience for all of our guests.We're situated on 20 acres trailside to world class mountain biking and 10 minutes from major ski resorts.You'll join an awesome, supportive team, a wildly popular restaurant (you get free food!), a bike shop operated by the Outdoor Gear Exchange, and Savu Sauna operating in front of our picturesque waterfall.The day-to-day:Inspecting rooms at the end of a guest's stay to ensure that the room was left in good condition with all Madbush Falls property still in the rooms and reporting anything missing to management.Quickly and efficiently clean guest rooms, tents, cabins, public areas and bathrooms to meet our standards and state standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance.Maintain interior and exterior guest facing areas to ensure the property presents itself as clean and welcoming.Perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, changing bed linens, and any other cleaning procedures necessary in the hotel.Exterior tasks include, but are not limited to general upkeep and cleanliness of guest walkways & perennial beds Maintaining bathhouse cleanliness and restocking Occasionally performing laundry duties ( as needed) Provide a high level of service when engaging with guests who you may see during your work day.Ensure guest safety by following proper repair reporting procedures Perform other job-related duties as requested A great candidate:Has a high energy and positive attitude Takes pride in their work Is welcoming and engaging Describes themselves as detail-oriented Has basic knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations Can handle multiple tasks at one time Able to stand for long periods of time, and can repeatedly lift up to 50lbs Pay:$20/hr-$22/hr plus tips left in rooms.We collect cash tips as well as Venmo via QR code.On any given shift, the cleaning team splits tips in all rooms evenly.Tips averaged approximately $4 per hour over the past 6 months ($22-$26 total hourly wage on average over the past 6 months).All positions come with at free shift meals, 50% employee food discount, free bike demos, employee gear discounts at Rider's Outpost, and 50% off of Savu saunas!
