Interior Designer Design 1 Kitchen & Bath · Bedford, MA On-site · Full-time · Mid-Senior level Full-time · Bedford, MA · 3–5 years of experience · Top 500 Remodeling Firm Join one of the top 500 Remodeling design/build firms in the United States, specializing in kitchens and baths. Based in Bedford, MA, we are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through completion — from initial client meetings and design development to material selection, estimating, and project coordination. About the role This is a full-cycle design position — you will own the client relationship, drive design decisions, and coordinate across vendors, trades, and project teams. Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, with some Saturdays 9am–3pm. What you'll do Lead client design and sales meetings to review layouts, scopes, and budgets Develop kitchen and bathroom designs using 2020 Design / CAD software Guide clients through material selection — cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing, lighting, and hardware Prepare accurate project estimates covering materials and labor Manage quoting, purchasing, and ordering of all remodeling materials Produce installation packets with drawings, specs, and documentation Coordinate deliveries, templates, and installations with vendors and field trades Maintain and organize showroom displays and material samples What we're looking for 3–5 years of experience in residential interior design or kitchen & bath design Proficiency with 2020 Design, CAD, or similar design software Strong Photoshop skills for client-facing drawings and presentations Proven estimating skills and experience managing full project cycles Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects Knowledge of materials, finishes, and color coordination General understanding of construction and remodeling processes preferred What we offer Health & dental insurance Retirement plan with employer match Paid vacation Competitive salary Professional Development Ready to bring your design expertise to a team that values creativity and craftsmanship?
