Commercial Electrical Foreman Eagle Enterprise Electrical Contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. We specialize in commercial electrical construction and have been serving the San Antonio area for over 35 years. Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and dependable Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field crews and manage day-to-day electrical installations on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial electrical experience, a current Texas Journeyman Electrician License, the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, and experience supervising electricians and apprentices in the field. This position requires someone who can plan work, coordinate manpower, track materials, communicate clearly with project managers and general contractors, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise and lead electricians and apprentices on commercial construction projects Plan, lay out, and oversee daily electrical work in the field Install, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings, construction plans, specifications, and blueprints Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, vendors, and other trades Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, NEC requirements, and local codes Maintain job site safety and enforce company safety policies, including OSHA standards Track manpower, material needs, progress, delays, and field issues Identify conflicts or problems in the plans and communicate them before they impact the schedule Mentor and train junior electricians and apprentices Maintain a clean, organized, and productive job site Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively Assist with inspections, punch lists, and project closeout items Qualifications Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License required Commercial electrical experience required Previous foreman or crew leadership experience required Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical plans, and blueprints Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code Experience supervising small to medium-sized crews OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Must be dependable, organized, and able to manage field work without constant supervision Strong communication and problem-solving skills Must have basic hand tools required for the trade Must pass a pre-employment background check Must pass an MVR check if operating company vehicles Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Preferred Experience Ground-up commercial construction Tenant finish-outs and renovations Medical, office, retail, restaurant, municipal, school, and fire station projects Service gear, panels, transformers, feeders, lighting systems, lighting controls, and site lighting Coordinating inspections and utility service releases Why Join Eagle Enterprise?
