Corinth Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dependable, motivated Lead Animal Care Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, and is ready to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced veterinary hospital. This can be a Full or Part-Time position with availability needed on some weekdays and every other weekend. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day kennel operations and support kennel team members Provide compassionate care to boarding and hospitalized animals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, treatment areas, and hospital spaces Train and mentor kennel staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork Support scheduling and workflow within the kennel department Benefits & Compensation ** Compensation: $15-$18 per hour, for each hour worked* Personal pet discount Uniform allowance For Full-Time only: Health Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (HSA Options) Life Insurance and Disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Minimum Qualifications & Skillset Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary hospital, boarding, or similar setting required Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling animals of various sizes, temperaments, and medical needs Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Leads by example and supports a positive team culture Passionate about animal care and maintaining a clean, safe environment Corinth Veterinary Clinic is truly something special-a seven-time "Best of Denton County" winner and a trusted pillar of the Hickory Creek, Corinth, Shady Shores, Lake Dallas, and Denton communities.
