Come work with us! Details: No Saint is gearing up for a busy spring/summer and as we expand our operations we are looking for an experienced cook to join our team. Pizza experience is not necessary, but passion for wood-fired cookery & hospitality is. The ideal candidate would be motivated to grow the ranks among our team as well as have eagerness to learn all stations and contribute creatively to the menu. Must embrace constant seasonal change. Schedule: Dependent on availability. Hours of operation: Wednesday 5p-9p Thursday 5p-9p Friday 5p-10p Saturday 10a - 2p / 5p - 11p Sunday 10a - 2p / 5p - 10p Effective Date : Whenever works for you. To help us provide a consistent and liveable wage we have implemented a service charge of 20% on all transactions in lieu of tipping. Compensation: 25$ - 26$ an hour (DOE) + tips ($0.50 - $1 an hour in addition to base) We charge a 20% service fee on all transactions. This helps us provide health insurance to full-time cooks and a standardized wage to all employees. Health, vision, and dental insurance offered to employees working 30+ hours per week after 60 days of continuous employment. Employer pays 50% contribution. Qualities Required: Valid Food Handlers Certificate Food Safety Knowledge Willingness to work on your toes, our menu can change daily. At least 4 years experience in a professional kitchen General knife handling Kitchen Cleaning/Sanitation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Have a desire to create systems that improve efficiency Must be passionate about cooking and take their work seriously Responsibilities: Arrive on time for the scheduled shift and wear clean and appropriate work attire. Manage time well and the work alone during the morning shifts. Prepare mise en place alone and alongside Chef until your shift is complete. Properly care for equipment and all workstations. Explore and listen to ideas that will reduce waste and increase sustainability. Ensure proper sanitation and personal hygiene are maintained. Ensure that the kitchen is always prepared for routine health inspection and following guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen, dish, and garbage areas.
