We are a modern, boutique orthodontic practice seeking a confident, experienced orthodontic assistant to join our small team. This is an important role within the practice. We are looking for someone who is comfortable chairside, highly organized, proactive, and able to help keep the clinical day running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes initiative, and is looking for a long-term position in a well-run orthodontic office. Responsibilities Chairside orthodontic assisting Help maintain smooth clinical flow throughout the day Instrument sterilization and setup Maintain organization of all clinical areas Manage inventory tracking and supply ordering Assist with clinical preparation and office organization Help create a positive, welcoming experience for patients and families Requirements: 3+ years dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience strongly preferred) Strong clinical and chairside skills Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable in a fast-paced orthodontic environment Friendly, engaging, and comfortable interacting with both patients and parents Schedule: Approximately 21–27 hours per week depending on schedule. Current schedule generally includes Mondays (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM) Tuesdays (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM) Alternating Thursdays and Fridays (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) 2 Saturdays per month (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) Schedule may vary slightly at times to accommodate holidays and school schedules. Summer schedule is slightly lighter. Compensation $25–$30/hour depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a smaller orthodontic practice and help contribute to a positive, organized, patient-focused environment.
