Job Description
Job Title: Lead Scrum Master Location: Malvern, PA (Onsite interview required role may be hybrid/onsite) Duration: Contract till end of 2026 Key Responsibilities Act as Lead Scrum Master for 1-2 scrum teams, facilitating all Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement) Coach and mentor team members and junior Scrum Masters on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and SAFe practices Identify and remove impediments to protect the team from distractions and ensure sprint commitments are met Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlog, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, throughput) using JIRA Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and data-driven action plans Work with cross-functional teams (development, QA, DevOps, product) to ensure alignment and dependencies are managed Support release planning and coordination across multiple scrum teams Champion Agile transformation and maturity improvement across the organization Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise Agile environments Prior Lead experience must have served as Lead Scrum Master or Team Lead for multiple teams Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence (dashboard creation, reporting, customization) Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Ability to work with distributed/offshore teams Strong communication skills ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders Willing to attend onsite interview in Malvern, PA Willing to work onsite/hybrid in Malvern, PA Preferred Qualifications SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced CSM (A-CSM) certification Experience in Financial Services or Asset Management industry Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus) Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
