Job Summary Total Body Submersion is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Swim Instructors to join our growing aquatic education team. In this role, you will teach group and private swim lessons to children and adults while promoting water safety, confidence, and skill development. You will work in a supportive, structured program with clear lesson frameworks and a strong emphasis on safety, consistency, and positive instruction. This is a great opportunity for college students, educators, coaches, or individuals passionate about water safety and working with children. Pay: $15–$23 per hour (based on experience and availability) Responsibilities Teach group and private swim lessons for children and adults at various skill levels Follow Total Body Submersion’s swim curriculum and safety-first teaching framework Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety skills Create a positive, encouraging learning environment for swimmers and families Monitor swimmer progress and communicate updates as needed Enforce all safety policies and procedures during lessons Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled lessons Communicate professionally with parents, swimmers, and team members Qualifications & Skills Strong swimming ability (freestyle, backstroke, treading water required) Experience working with children preferred (teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, etc.) Prior swim instructor or lifeguard experience preferred but not required Willingness to follow a structured teaching style and curriculum Strong communication and reliability Passion for water safety and helping swimmers build confidence Certification Bonus: If you are not currently certified, we will assist with certification as a bonus for instructors who commit to the program.Schedule Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Positions Available Multiple Swim Instructor positions available (Lead Instructor role already filled in Jackson) Why Join Total Body Submersion?
