Description Lead Wound Ostomy RN at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position is Per-diem and will work 12 -hour Da y shifts. The Coordinator, Wound Ostomy Continence Management serves as a clinical expert, consultant and facilitator for Providence Little Company of Mary Service Area in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care practices, policies, and educational activities related to selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems, such as complex draining wounds, ostomies, fistulae, dermal ulcers, tubes and incontinence. Responds to patients and families with knowledge of age specific needs within Division of Nursing and support the Mission Statement and Core Values of Little Company of Mary. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year of Acute hospital experience in clinical specialty area. Experience in nurse-peer teaching and ability to communicate with all levels of staff. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree Coursework/Training and Graduate preparation in adult education. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
