Job Description
Our client, an industry leader in oil and gas manufacturing and industrial production, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lean Manufacturing Coach to join their dynamic team. As a Lean Manufacturing Coach, you will be an integral part of the Plant Operations Department supporting Lean Manufacturing principles and providing guidance to the plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Lean Manufacturing Coach Location: Beaumont, TX What's the Job? Partner with plant leadership to evaluate operational workflows, manufacturing practices, plant operations and identify inefficiencies, coach leadership on Lean principles Facilitate Lean workshops, Kaizen events, and process improvement initiatives Conduct value stream mapping and operational process analysis to optimize production Support teams in implementing sustainable operational improvements Develop and monitor performance metrics to track continuous improvement efforts Partner with Plant Operations teams to improve production reliability Mentor Plant supervisors and leadership on continuous improvement practices What's Needed? MINIMUM of Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or plant environments (10+ years preferred) Preferred background as Plant Manager/Superintendent with a focus in heavy industrial, petrochemical, chemical, or refinery production environments Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing or plant operations environments to include equipment reliability, Hands-on experience applying Lean tools such as VSM, Root Cause Analysis (5Whys), Kaizen, SOP development and Waste elimination Familiarity with industrial systems including MES, SAP, and CMMS Proven ability to translate Lean principles into practical operational improvements Willingness to travel up to 25% What's in it for me?
