Job Description
Description We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead enterprise-wide learning strategy and execution across the Americas. This role will focus heavily on leadership development while supporting a well-established manufacturing training environment. You will balance strategy and hands-on delivery, driving both the procurement and facilitation of high-impact learning experiences. You’ll lead a team of three (including two manufacturing trainers) and play a critical role in strengthening leadership capability—particularly in building soft skills for current and emerging leaders. What You’ll Do Learning Strategy & Execution Build and execute an enterprise L&D strategy aligned to business priorities Conduct needs assessments and identify capability gaps, especially in leadership development Own end-to-end learning initiatives (design, delivery, vendor management, evaluation) Partner with HR and business leaders to align learning with operational goals Measure program effectiveness and continuously improve based on data and insights Leadership Development & Facilitation Lead the design and delivery of leadership development programs Facilitate training sessions and workshops across multiple levels Manage external vendors and learning partners to ensure high-quality delivery Strengthen leadership soft skills (communication, influence, coaching, etc.) Manufacturing & Operational Support Support an established, high-performing manufacturing training function Align learning solutions with operational realities and time-to-productivity needs Learning Infrastructure & Enablement Serve as business owner for the Learning Management System (LMS) Drive adoption of digital learning tools and scalable solutions Develop frameworks for career development conversations and growth planning Enable leaders to take ownership of employee development What We’re Looking For Proven experience building L&D strategy in a complex, matrixed enterprise environment Strong ability to influence across multiple stakeholders and operate in ambiguity Experience in both facilitating and procuring leadership training programs Background supporting or working within manufacturing environments Expertise in adult learning principles and leadership development Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions Data-driven mindset with experience measuring learning impact Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or related field Experience working in global or highly matrixed organizations Manufacturing experience strongly preferred English required; Spanish preferred Additional Details Direct reports: 3 Geographic scope: Americas Travel: ~5–10% Work environment: Hybrid/office-based Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Miramar, FL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
