Learning Events Manager St. Louis, MO Position Summary Focus Partners Wealth's Learning Events Manager is responsible for the development, administration, and execution of various learning experiences for FPW's advisor associates. Educating advisors involves evaluating and advancing specific skills and knowledge across the core areas of Client Experience, Technology Platforms and Practice Management. The Advisor Learning & Development Team works closely with the Advisory Leadership Team and Advisor Relations Team to identify the key learning needs of our advisors and delivers learning resources intended to meet those needs. It is the goal of the Advisor Learning & Development Team to provide all FPW advisors with the resources required to continuously grow as a professional and deliver an exceptional client experience. Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 day per week, or as assigned by their team leader. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate superbly with peers and colleagues across the firm to understand and identify core learning needs of the advisor community Build relationships with internal subject matter resources (SMR) and facilitate the transfer of knowledge from SMR, as needed Translate knowledge and information into learning & development content for consumption in various venues (virtual, live, self-study, etc.) Own, manage and deliver various learning projects and initiatives such as live learning events, etc. Update training programs and supporting materials as needed/assigned, so that changes in policies and procedures are accurately reflected and programs remain highly relevant and engaging Review her/his own work for accuracy using a keen eye for details to ensure quality and adherence to all necessary compliance and design standards Track the engagement, success and relevance of materials and programs, making improvements and adjustments as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3+ years' experience in designing and delivering educational content Advanced written and verbal communication skills Critical thinker: able to understand core objectives and creatively solve for methods to achieve them Demonstrate personal initiative, organization, and time management skills to be able to consistently meet deadlines Deep understanding and appreciation for our primary constituents with a continual mindset of what we can create to educate and inspire them Enthusiastic, quick, and ongoing learner Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking environment Desire to help others Travel up to 20% This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay for this role is expected to be $60,000 - $65,000 base salary. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
