Job Overview Vision Christian Academy is seeking a dependable and student-focused Academic Support Coordinator to oversee student progress within online coursework and provide daily academic support in a structured classroom environment. This position is not a traditional teaching role but instead focuses on student accountability, academic monitoring, classroom oversight, and supplemental assistance in core subjects such as Math and English. The ideal candidate is organized, encouraging, able to manage students effectively, and passionate about helping students stay on track academically. Responsibilities: Monitor and oversee students completing online coursework Track daily academic progress and ensure students remain on pace Provide classroom supervision and maintain a productive learning environment Assist students with Math and English assignments when needed Offer encouragement, accountability, and academic support to students Communicate student concerns, progress, and intervention needs to administration Help students develop time management, organization, and study skills Ensure students are following school expectations and academic guidelines Work alongside teachers and administration to support student success Qualifications: Strong communication and classroom management skills Basic proficiency in Math and English support Ability to motivate and work effectively with students of varying academic levels Organized, dependable, and self-motivated Previous experience in education, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or youth development preferred High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred Preferred Qualities: Positive attitude and leadership mindset Passion for helping students succeed academically and personally Ability to build relationships with students while maintaining structure and accountability Comfortable working with online learning platforms and technology Job Type: Full-time Pay: $31,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
