Job Summary The Department of Criminal Justice at The University of North Georgia invites applications for a Full-Time Permanent Lecturer of Criminal Justice at the Dahlonega campus. The contract is issued on a yearly basis and can be renewed. The workload may require travel across campuses, teaching at off-campus teaching sites, and online teaching. Teaching schedule may include assignments on other campuses, evening or on-line classes. Required Qualifications Master's degree in criminal justice, criminalistics, criminology, police administration or a closely related field at the time of appointment, or a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or a closely related field is preferred. Experience teaching policing at the university or college level. Successful candidates should be able to teach one or more of the following courses, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Law Enforcement, Juvenile Justice, and Corrections. Ability to work collaboratively with all campus constituencies.
