Personal Injury law firm in Glendale, CA, is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior personal injury experience who is passionate about supporting clients and assisting Case Managers in delivering top-quality legal services.As a Legal Assistant, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day management of pre-litigation personal injury cases, ensuring smooth and efficient progress from intake to demand preparation.Responsibilities:Assist the Case Manager in managing all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury cases, from intake through demand preparation.Open and organize insurance claims for new cases.Oversee and manage client's medical care, ensuring constant communication with both clients and medical providers.Prepare both physical and electronic files for new clients, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and organized.Enter and update important case details in CasePeer or similar case management software.Schedule and coordinate medical appointments, ensuring timely follow-ups.Clearly explain legal procedures and necessary documentation to clients, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions.Continuously monitor and review case status, medical records, and other related materials to ensure cases are progressing effectively.Qualifications:Required:Prior experience as a Legal Assistant Excellent communication skills, as this position involves regular client interaction.Strong organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.Preferred:Fluency in Spanish (bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply).Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology.Experience using CasePeer or similar legal case management software (will train).Benefits:Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Sick Pay 401(k) Matching Free Parking Job Type:Full-time Pay:Up to $28.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:Legal Assistant:1 year (Required) Personal injury law:1 year (Required) Language:Spanish (Required) Ability to Commute:Glendale, CA 91203 (Required) Work Location:In person.
