Leading international law firm in New York seeks a proactive Legal Data Steward to join its Knowledge Management team. Strong critical-thinking and detail-oriented skills required as the role will be responsible for handling all aspects of data management and maintenance related to the corporate transactional and regulatory practices at the firm. Data Steward will ensure data quality, integrity, accuracy, and security in accordance with the firm’s governance protocols. Responsibilities include tracking data, metadata models, tagging structures, monitoring data quality dashboards, troubleshooting data quality issues, conducting data audits, and other projects as needed. Qualified candidates will have a college degree and at least 3-4 years of solid experience in a law firm with a focus on data stewardship, information science, or knowledge management functions. Prior data experience related to M&A, finance, capital markets, regulatory filings, and other related matters is highly desired. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, document management systems, Knowledge Management platforms, SQL, Power BI, SEC, FINRA, CFIUS, Intapp, and Foundation. Salary range is $85-100k, depending on experience, qualifications and skills. This position is primarily remote but will require flexibility to work at the office as needed.
