Job Description
Mac Haik Automotive Group is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Level 2 IT Support Specialist to provide technical support across multiple dealership and corporate locations, including Pasadena and League City. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues while delivering exceptional service to end users in a fast-paced automotive environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Respond to service calls to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems. Oversight of network, servers, PC hardware, software and peripherals. Execute hardware, software and network installations and configurations. Provides network support by planning activities that effect system operations strategically and responding to system malfunctions quickly in an effort to keep work in process and minimize downtime. Support the implementation and maintenance of technology requirements for IT initiatives. Performs testing on new systems and modifications to existing systems and evaluates results. Coordinate dispatching of work orders to third party vendors for stores outside the home service area. Coordinate technology purchases for PCs, monitors and printers as needed. Performs company-wide computer software upgrades in an effort to provide users with software that enhances productivity, functionality and/or security and facilitate the transformation to that software. Coordinate disposal of obsolete computer equipment. Set priorities, demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency, communicate status and follow through to ensure complete resolution for issues within established service levels. Travel to stores within or outside the home service area to provide support, working with customers to solve IT-related issues. Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule. Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions. Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. Able to commute to League City and Pasadena Other duties as assigned.
