Job Summary and Qualifications As a Librarian of Imaging, you will be an important part of a team that considers themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role You will provide technical support to internal and external customer by efficiently performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture and Archive Communications Systems (PACS) technology for accurate and efficient utilization of electronic/ manual image and date storage, reporting and distribution technologies. These include Centricity PACS, GE Digital Hardcopy, Meditech RIS, Powerscribe, and Vocera communication system. You will perform the overall maintenance of x-ray record files (electronic and hard copy) and related paperwork. You will provide the necessary assistance to Medical Staff, Radiologists and co-workers. What qualifications you will need: Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or two years healthcare/ radiology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of personal computer operating systems, assembly, software applications, computer hardware, and networking.
