Job Description

Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluation of medical history, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans. Perform acupuncture procedures targeting specific points to address acute pain, trigger points, and other musculoskeletal issues. Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to relieve muscle tension and improve mobility. Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance recovery and prevent future issues. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and medical terminology standards to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Document all treatments, assessments, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management principles essential for effective acupuncture practice. Proven experience in managing acute pain conditions using acupuncture and trigger point therapy techniques. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically. Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments to tailor treatments effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and proper sterilization procedures. Ability to educate patients on their health conditions and treatment processes confidently.
