This role plays a critical part in improving clinic efficiency, enhancing patient experience, and supporting hearing aid services under the supervision of a licensed audiologist. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support Prepare and room patients for audiology appointments Assist with patient flow and ensure timely provider handoffs Support otoscopy procedures within scope Assist with hearing protection education and fitting Hearing Aid Support Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot hearing aids (non-programming) Replace batteries and manage accessories Prepare devices for fittings and follow-up visits Operational Support Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms Follow infection control and safety protocols Manage inventory of hearing aid supplies and equipment Administrative Support Assist with EMR documentation in accordance with clinic standards Schedule follow-up appointments Identify and communicate patient needs to the provider Qualifications Active Texas Licensed Assistant in Audiology (L-AA) license (or ability to obtain) High school diploma or GED required
