Job Overview We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Barbers to join our dynamic salon team! There is a choice of flat fee chair rental or high percentage split, not your typical 60/40. We believe this Barber-favorable split will be the success of our salon. As a licensed professional, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in haircuts, styling, and grooming while contributing to the overall success of our salon. Duties Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and grooming consultations. Perform hair styling and hair extension applications using the latest techniques and tools. Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently. Offer expert advice on hair color theory, product recommendations, and personalized styling solutions to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and upselling retail products like hair care, nail care, eyelash extensions, and makeup application. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, eyelash extensions, nail care, and overall salon best practices. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience in barbering with skills in haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard grooming, and hair styling. Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms. Strong understanding of color theory and current trends in men's grooming and hairstyling. Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively. Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques while providing exceptional customer service. Experience with additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair threading is a plus.
