Job Description
The Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, compliance, and daily operations of the residential child care operation. This role ensures that the facility operates in full compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards, while maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for children and staff. The LCCA provides administrative oversight of program services, staffing, regulatory compliance, fiscal accountability, and quality assurance to support positive outcomes for residents placed in care. Program Administration & Oversight Direct and oversee daily operations of the residential treatment center. Ensure delivery of trauma-informed and therapeutic services aligned with program goals. Maintain a safe, structured, and developmentally appropriate environment for residents. Supervise leadership staff including Program Director, Case Managers, and Supervisors. Requirements Valid licensure as a Child Care Administrator or equivalent certification in early childhood education or related field Proven experience managing licensed child care centers or group homes with a focus on early childhood development Strong knowledge of licensing standards, health & safety regulations, and best practices in child care management Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing operations effectively Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community stakeholders Ability to develop detailed care plans tailored to individual children's needs Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Knowledge of budgeting, financial acumen, and resource management within a child care setting Join us in shaping a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive!
